Transport and Logistics Software: Our Track Record
Associated British Ports (ABP) have cited our systems as contributing significantly to its success in winning future contracts.
ABP is the UK’s largest port authority, responsible for handling around a quarter of the country’s seaborne trade. ABP’s Port of Southampton is one the nation’s busiest ports for international vehicle export.
Our work for them include bespoke shipping database software to manage allocation of vehicles to shipping schedules for a major German manufacturer, and software to support barcode scanners used for asset tracking at the Port of Southampton.
It’s a mark of the success of these projects that ABP have returned to us to deliver new solutions on numerous occasions, and continue to maintain a working relationship with us.
A recent, innovative project for Critical Rail saw us developing software to operate safety sensors for track temperature, which sends out automatic SMS and e-mail alerts to maintenance teams once temperatures exceed safe levels.
We’ve also delivered fleet management and training tools for a number of UK clients, including Professional Driver Services. In many cases, these tools remain a core part of how these clients operate.
Working With Us
At Logic, we’re cross-sector experts. Our work covers the majority of key UK business sectors, including numerous Manufacturing clients, and several of the country’s best-known names.
The benefit of this for companies operating within transport and logistics is clear: whatever the scenario, and whatever you need to deliver for your clients, the chances are we’ve been there. And if we haven’t, our team’s combined knowledge means we can adapt and learn.
At its heart, Logistics is about getting the job done as smoothly as possible. Our business analysis process has been repeatedly refined over our 15-year history to allow us to get to grips with how your business operates, and understand exactly the role our software will play in your-day-to day process.
Coupled with our wide-ranging knowledge, this analysis allows us to develop software that exactly matches your business requirements. It also means we can integrate your new bespoke solutions with your existing platforms and software, getting you up and running quickly.
We also provide full training for all new software as standard, and we can provide ongoing support – via e-mail, phone or in-person – once your new software is in place.
It’s all part of smoothing out the bumps in the road.
