Sport and Leisure Software: Our Track (and field) Record
Sport Wales are the Welsh Government’s main advisers on sporting matters in Wales. Working alongside them, we developed a web-based application that allows for progress tracking and report generation for Sport Wales’ 50-plus partner organisations.
The software helps Sport Wales’ partner organisations plan areas of performance to improve in the future, helping to improve the standard of sport in Wales
On the start-up front, we’ve worked with Play More Golf to develop their core web-based membership management software. The system handles allocation of points that allow for users to purchase time at golf clubs, and calculates point value based on peak times across clubs.
The project required the development of APIs to integrate with existing ‘tee-sheet’ software, and also saw us working alongside our partners AgileBase to create new features of their core CRM offering in order to better meet PMG’s needs.
The finished software sits at the heart of PMG’s unique new approach to UK golf membership, and has helped them to launch a successful business.
The launch of Disability Sport Wales’ inSport Portal, developed in collaboration with Logic Software, provides DSW with a wide range of management and communication tools, ranging from online document sharing to tracking of the progress of different bodies towards different tiers of inSport Awards.
Working With Us
Our straightforward software development process means you can hit the ground running.
With our comprehensive business analysis process, we gain a clear understanding of how your organisation works, and the structure of your business, partnerships and facilities. This means that we can ensure that our software exactly meets your business needs, and also the needs of your partner organisations, facilities users and staff.
We utilise an Agile project management style. This means that we can adapt the scale of the project, if your budget, company structure or business needs change over the course of the project.
For example, say you acquire responsibility for a number of new sporting facilities during your project with us, which the software will now need to account for. We’re able to adapt to this change, quickly altering the parameters of the project to meet new circumstances.
We also provide full training for all software we develop, and on-going support for your new software is available directly from our in-house support team.
