Clients include: British Airways Maintenance, Rockwool, TYM Seals and Gaskets, undisclosed international manufacturing firms
Logic Software has a decade of experience developing bespoke software for manufacturing firms. Previous projects range from online ordering systems for companies producing manufacturing components, to full-scale production line management software.
Our work isn’t limited to our notable UK clients; we’ve produced software for companies with international manufacturing plants. Our senior software architects have recently visited sites across Europe to get to grips with the specific requirements of different manufacturing environments.
Manufacturing clients are among those that benefit most from our cross-sector knowledge, particularly within Transport & Logistics. Understanding where your business processes cross over with those of other companies, and having the knowledge to bridge that gap, means we can keep things simple.
Can we provide the bespoke software you need?
Examples of previous software we’ve produced for manufacturing clients includes:
- Bespoke production management database software
- Web-based ordering systems
- Stock management solutions
- Production line management suite
- Shipping control software
- Product tracking tools
- Site synchronisation software
- Integration with Microsoft Dynamics AX
Many of the above solutions formed individual ‘modules’ of feature-rich, comprehensive solutions we developed. We can deliver small scale, individual software elements when required, or create software suites to manage the entire production process, from order placing to shipping of the finished product.
Our Track Record in Manufacturing Software
BAMC is responsible for the maintenance of British Airway’s fleet of 747, 777 and 767 aircraft. With a new production line on the horizon, BAMC needed to integrate several different database systems into one cohesive solution.
The cost-effective software we delivered helped the BAMC team get the new production line up and running. Intelligent, forward-thinking design also means the software can support the future of the business, allowing for the integration of new features and easy-remapping of hangar facilities.
Since the delivery of our initial solution we’ve continued to work with BAMC to support and upgrade the system.
We’ve worked with a number of other clients in this sector; due to the commercially sensitive nature of much of this work, we’re not able to detail these projects in full.
This has included many of our international projects, developing complete production management suites that allow for the control of multiple sites across Europe from a central UK location. These suites are integrated with existing in-house systems, as well as a range of manufacturing hardware, and have greatly simplified the process of working with third-party contract manufacturers.
Working With Us
Whether you’re looking for an entirely new suite of software solutions, new software to modules to expand what you’ve already got in place, or smaller-scale upgrades to legacy systems, we’ve got it covered.
We undertake comprehensive Business Analysis for each new client we work with, giving us a clear understanding of exactly how your business operates. This includes the structure of the systems you’re already working with, how our new bespoke software will sit alongside these, and how best to fit our software into your existing business processes.
Legacy integration is a key part of what we’re often asked to provide. Sourcing new, bespoke software shouldn’t mean you have to reinvent the wheel, and our 15-year history gives us wide knowledge of the systems and solutions already out there. Whatever you’re using, we can work with it.
