March 01, 2011

Having delivered several successful projects over the past 6 years for the largest port authority in the UK, Associated British Ports has awarded Logic Software with another contract.
ABP has contracted Logic Software to work on creating a new corporate web site and building some interactive tools to help manage sales enquiries through the site. Additionally, each region of ABP will have its own web presence enabling the regional ports to communicate more clearly with their customers.
ABP's 21 ports, together with the other transport-related businesses that constitute the ABP Group, form a UK-wide network capable of handling every conceivable type of cargo. ABP is backed by investment in modern facilities and equipment, and supported by experienced staff.
The Group's activities cover transport, haulage and terminal operations, ship's agency, dredging and marine consultancy. Each port also offers a well-established community of port-service providers.
Logic has worked with ABP for a number of years delivering a broad range of bespoke database and software applications, in the areas of EDI, vehicle management, and vessel traffic services.
