Logic Software has developed an online auction site for MAAK, a specialist art consultancy that focuses on handling the very best in contemporary ceramic art.
Established by Marijke Varrall-Jones in 2009, MAAK has quickly become established as a significant organisation for the contemporary ceramics market. MAAK’s services range from brokering private sales, providing valuations and offering extensive sourcing services, as well as organising regular auctions of contemporary ceramics.
The site allows potential bidders to browse the catalogue during an initial viewing period where people can look at the items online. One the auction starts, bidders are able to bid a maximum bid or participate in real-time with an incremental bid (similar to Ebay).
