10 Years of Logic Software
5th February 2012

2012 is Logic Software’s tenth year in business. There have been some ups and downs over the past decade, but on the whole it has been upbeat. We have survived the recession, but not only that, we have positively thrived during the last few years, increasing turnover year on year and landing many important new clients.
Logic Software started out life building simple web sites, but quickly specialised in the development aspect, concentrating mostly on web sites that involved a lot of technical work or database functionality. This forms the core area of our expertise now: building bespoke software and databases and integrating systems together.
Starting with a handful of small, local customers in 2002, Logic has grown both in size and capability to work with some of the largest businesses and best known brands in the UK. Organisations that use our software on a daily basis include Associated British Ports, BMW, Craegmoor Healthcare, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, NHS London, John Crane, plus many county councils and police forces.
We developed our own content management system, called Hoopla, back in 2004 and have continued to maintain and expand it, so that it has become a favourite tool amongst our customers. We often receive comments from clients saying how easy it is to update their web site or to add new pages. We also operate our own Data Centre and offer world-class hosting facilities to clients.
Managing Director, Darryl Morton, commented, “I would like to thank all of our clients and employees, past and present, for helping Logic Software on its journey over the last 10 years. I’m especially looking forward the next 10 years where the future looks bright. We have a great team of people working within the business and some very supportive clients with whom we have close working relationships. Our consultative, partnership-based approach has played a big part in our success.”
