The Brown Rural Partnership, a firm of quantity surveyors based in Macclesfield requested that we assist with building a web-based time sheet management system to replace their existing Excel-based timesheet management process. The new system will enable the company's surveyors to access the system from anywhere, making managing their workload easier. The system will also create reports a lot faster than their current business process, freeing up time to spend on other activities.
TYM Seals and Gaskets has built a first-class reputation as suppliers and manufacturers of gaskets and seals and extrusions and mouldings in all flexible materials. TYM had been managing with an Access database, but were restricted in how this system could grow and support their clients. Logic are working with TYM to develop a new web-based system with a SQL Server backend. The new database will allow TYM to have several more features than their current database, such as automated emailing and generation of invoices in PDF format. These simple features will allow them to become more productive, through the automation of simple tasks, and efficient in their operations and dealing with their customers.
