The Welsh Contact Centre Forum is a high value Employers’ Forum for the contact centres, shared service centres and financial service businesses in Wales. The Forum represents over 160 contact centres, which employ more than 28,000 people, worth over £400m to the Welsh economy annually.
Sandra Busby, Director of the WCCF described the problem, “We wanted a professional looking site that was fresh and compelling, but more importantly easily accessible for our members. Logic Software gave us exactly that. They met every element of our requirements without any hassle."
The management team at WCCF recognised that the previous website was out-dated and lacking in features. They took the decision that they needed a much improved web site for its members to use and to share information more easily.
It was important for the web site to be easy to navigate and have certain features, and that information was easily accessible for the WCCF forum members.
- Logic Software developed a new web site, with a lot more features than the old site
- As part of the build, Logic Software incorporated its innovative Content Management System (CMS) called Hoopla, which gives users total control over the management and content publishing of their website
- A database was constructed to allow the WCCF membership and events co-ordinators to manage a number of frequent tasks using a “dashboard” screen
- The database was made accessible to the Forum’s members, which allowed them to maintain their own account details and log helpdesk enquiries in a secure manner
New members have been attracted to join the Forum by virtue of being able to see what benefits that the Forum offers to its members.
The simple layout and modern design of the web site showcase the work of the Forum, plus the secure members’ area facilitates improved communications between users of the site.
The membership database has simplified a number of back-office processes saving time, which is now spent more productively.
Using Logic’s content management software, Hoopla, means that the WCCF can update the web site’s content whenever they require.
